Therapeutic Yoga

Therapeutic yoga is an adaptation of yoga that applies yogic principles and methods to heal various human ailments. It is a blend of restorative yoga, gentle yoga, breath work, meditation and chakra stimulation. Therapeutic yoga is preventive as well as restorative. It is among the most effective complementary therapies for various illnesses and diseases according to many medical studies.
Therapeutic yoga focuses on specific and individual needs. It actively works on ways to heal and improve the conditions, illness or injury. While regular yoga is broader and encompasses the whole being, therapeutic yoga is more target specific and works towards healing that particular ailment.

The approach adopted by therapeutic yoga is twofold – prevention and restoration. It aids in the recovery from physical and mental illnesses. Then it works on preventing it from occurring again. To do so requires a deep understanding of the human body. It also requires a deep knowledge of yoga and its techniques.

Therefore, it is important to consult a yoga therapist for this. We conduct personal training sessions because therapeutic yoga requires individual attention.

I have joined personal training program at Ashish Yoga fitness, AECS layout three months back. I am having PCOD for more than 15 years , because of which I always struggle with my weight and period. I also have issues with my knee and ankle. After joining the class, I immediately got the result when my period stared after a long time! From then on, my cycle has become regular, I have lost 8 kilos of weight and could feel improvement in my knee and ankle. Ashish sir not only guides the students as per their need, but also motivates to achieve the goal. He is an extremely punctual, dedicated teacher who thinks about his students and helps them to adopt to a better lifestyle. I cannot thank him enough for his contribution.

Ashish sir is God of my fortune. By the grace of God I have met God in reality. Yes “Ashish sir” 🙏
I was about to end my life. I was on bed from 1.5 yrs and had lost all hopes in life. I was not able to stand, walk, sit, move around without support.
I had anxiety, vertigo, spondylosis, acidity, migraine, palpitations and depressed in all aspects. Consulted all specialists surgeons in medical line. But couldn’t get cured.
From last month started taking therapeutic treatment by Ashish sir. Without any tests he figured out the root causes and started healing in perfect and right direction.
Today only within a month, I see tremendous change in me. Now, I can walk, stand, balance on single leg. I realized life is not about killing ownself but it’s about giving life to others. Ashish sir is giving life to people like me.
